The y-intercept is the value of y when x=0. The coordinate of the y-intercept is (0, y).

5x - 2y = 10
x-intercept:
5x = 10
x =2
x-intercept is (2, 0).
y-intercept:
-2y = 10
y = -5
The y-intercept is (0, -5).
Since we have an equation of a line, we plot these two points (the intercepts). Then connect them in a straight line.
