x+1+1=third integer

 

(x)+(x+1)+(x+1+1)=108

3x+3=108

Let's isolate x...

Let's subtract 3 from both sides...

-3+3x+3=108-3

3x=105

Let's divide both sides by 3...

(3x)/3=105/3

x=35

 

35, 36, 37

 

Let's check our work...

35+36+37 =? 108

108 =? 108
