How to deal with trigonometry in application?

A utility pole is anchored to level ground by two 53 ft wires, one on each side of the pole. The wires make a 65 (degree) angle with the ground below. How far apart along the ground are the wires?

I appreciate your help. However, the test provides me five options:
A. 59.6 feet
B. 51.2 feet
C. 44.8 feet
D. 42.6 feet 
E. 38.7 feet
and the answer key says c is the correct answer.

Mark's solution also has a perfect setup and equation, but there's a miscalculation. If you work out his solution, you'll see that we both come out with the same answer.
