The standard equation for lines is...

y=mx+b

m is slope

b is y-intercept--the point of y when x=0.

 

y=2x+b

Let's plug in the coordinate provided (6,15)...

15=2(6)+b

15=12+b

Let's subtract 12 from both sides...

-12+15=12+b-12

3=b

 

y=2x+3
