Hi Billy, the y equations represent a horizontal line and can be discarded. The x values represent vertical lines. For a vertical line to go through the point (-6, 4) it will have to have an equation that equates to x = -6.
Therefore, x = 4 will not work, and x + 2 - 6 equates to x = -4, and it will not work.
Solution: x = -6.
