So ya what is pi = 22/7 and how do I do it?

Pi (π) is a mathematical constant used to calculate the circumference (or perimeter) of a circle with respect to the circle's diameter (or radius).  It is the ratio of the circumference to its diameter.

 

With.....

C=circumference of a circle

d=diameter of a circle

r=radius of a circle

 

We calculate circumference using the formulas....

     C=πd.....22/7 times diameter

      -or-

     C=2πr....2 times 22/7 times radius

As you can see, 3 is the whole number and 1/7 is fraction part.  If we divide 1 by 7 using the same method,
