Does 1=x have no solution?

I'm doing my home work and I can't figure out if this has no solution or one solution.

x=1 is a solution.  You have an equation in which when you plug in 1 for x, the equation is satisfied.  It is one solution.  For some types of equations, x=1 can be a repeating solution.
