surface area of a cuboid is 2[(length *width) +(length*height)+(width*height)]
so, 426 = 2[(9*12)+(9*height)+(12*height)]
426=2(108+ 21*height)
426= 216+ 42*height
(426-216) = 42*height
210= 42* height
dividing 42 on both the sides
5= height
so now we have height is 5 cm
volume of a cuboid is length*width*height
= 9*12*5
=540cm3
