Hi Haley!
So converting fractions to decimals can be an easy or difficult task depending on the fraction.
In this case your fraction 3/4 is telling you that out of 4 parts you have 3.
If you can picture a pizza pie that shows 100% of the pie. Now if you split that pie into 4 parts, each slice will be 25% since 100/4 = 25.
Back to your fraction 3/4, if you have 3 parts of 4, you have 3 25% slices which is 3 * 25% = 75%.
Now that you have 3/4 as a percentage you simply have to covert the percent to a decimal. To do this you will just move the decimal 2 places to the left.
75.% --> .75
And that's your answer 3/4 as a decimal is .75
Hope this helps fractions to percents to decimal conversion a bit easier! I am available for online tutoring if you ever need more help!
Best of Luck,
Blyss
