Let x = width, then length = 2x+5.  The perimeter is the sum of all sides so:

 

x + x + (2x+5) + (2x+5) = 106 and solve for x

 

6x + 10 = 106

 

6x = 96

 

x = 16 which is the width, the length will be 37.
