A) With what vertical velocity does the ball land?

 

B) How tall is the baseball player?

 

C) How far did the baseball player throw the ball?

(A) v_yf=(10m/s²)(.5s) = 5m/s

 

(B) Possibly Δy=(1/2)(10m/s²)(.5m/s)²=1.25m

 

(C) (100m/s)(.5s)=50m
