Two airplanes leave at the same time from airports that are 880 miles apart and travel toward each other. If one point travels 126 mph faster than the other and they pass each other in two hours, how fast is each plane traveling?

880=r*2+(r+126)*2

880=2r+2r+252

880=4r+252

880-252=4r

628=4r

628/4=r

r=157 mph for one plane

157+126=283 mph for the other plane
