How do you find the horizontal distance

A company want to install an electrical ramp to allow wheelchair access regulations state that the gradient must not exceed 0.8. the electric ramp is 319 cm long and has a vertical height of 220 cm. Find the horizontal distance

There appears to be a problem with this question. A gradient of 0.8 would mean 8 vertical feet for every 10 horizontal feet which is much too steep for a wheelchair ramp! Perhaps you meant 0.08?
