For problems 1 - 5, graph each of the following logarithmic functions using technology. 

 

1 f(x) = log0.3 x

2 f(x) = log (x + 4)

3 f(x) = log (x - 2)

4 f(x) = log0.2 (x + 6)

5 f(x) = log6 (x - 5)

In addition to the above, change the scale of your x and y axis so that you see the most curvy part of the logarithm.  For 2 through 5, there is a left, right, left, and right shift, respectively.

On a graphing calculator, press the Y= button.   Enter the function that you desire.  Press the GRAPH button.  You will see the calculator construct the graph.
