Passing through (4,8) and (8,16)

Write the point-slope form of the line's equation satisfying the given conditions. Then use the point-slope form of the equation to write the slope intercept from the equation.

Type the point-slope form of the equation of the line._____
Passing through (4,8) and (8,16)
(Simplify your answer. Use integers or fraction for any number in the equation)

Hello!
For this problem, we use the formula m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) to find the slope or the gradient.
So if we plug them into the formula, we receive m=(16-8)/(8-4).
                                                                     m=8/4
                                                                     m=2
The equation we use should be like this: y=mx+b
                                                           y=2x+b
                                                           8=2(4)+b    <we could pick (4,8)
                                                           8=8+b
                                                           b=0
The equation will be y=2x
