I understood your solution to mean that x / 20 - 8 >= -10, so we can go from there.

First of all, add 8 to both sides to get x / 20 >= -2;

Then multiply both sides by 20 to get x >= -40.

If we had, say, -x / 20 >= -2, x <= 40. Remember, when multiplying or dividing by a negative number, you need to change the direction of the inequality.

Solve this a lot like a normal equation:

x / 20 - 8 >= -10  
(">=" is how you type "greater than or equal to" in many  programming languages and in spreadsheets like Microsoft Excel.)

Add 8 to both sides:

x / 20 >= -10 + 8
x / 20 >= -2

Multiply both sides by 20:

x >= -40

NOTE: If you needed to multiply or divide by a negative number, you would have to reverse the inequality.  That is >= would change to <=.

Check your work:  Plug in -60, -40 and -20 for x in the original equation to see examples of the left side being less than, equal to, or greater than the right side.
