This is a problem you can solve with a little bit of Algebra and logic.
Since Paul ordered 3 tacos for $1.53, and we want to know how many tacos he can order if he has more money, our first step should be to figure out how much money does he spend to buy one taco.
$1.53 / 3 = $0.51 per taco
Now we look at how much money he has: $5.78. Because he spends $0.51 on one taco, he can buy $5.78 / $0.51 = 11.33 Tacos
But wait! No one is going to sell you 0.33 of a taco! So really, Paul can buy 11 tacos with $5.78.
If you need to use Algebraic equations to show your work, here it is: Where X is the cost of a taco, and Y is the number of tacos.
3X = $1.53
$5.78 = X * Y

Don't forget your units when you are answering word problems. Your answer to this questions must be a number of TACOS
