To find the y-intercept, just plug in a value of 0 for x and solve for y:
6(y+2) = 3(x-2)
6y+12 = 3(0-2) = 3 (-2) = -6
6y+12 = -6
6y = -18
y = -3
So the y-intercept would be (0, -3)
