√16x5
Try to factor the 16 and the x5 into one or more factors that are perfect squares:
- 16 = 4*4 = 42
- x5 = x*x*x*x*x = x2*x2*x
So:
√16x5 = √(42*x2*x2*x) = √42 * √x2 * √x2 * √x = 4*x*x*√x = 4x2√x
