Scatter plot help!!!

A trend line should always pass through ate least two actual data points on a scatter plot. True or false?.?

The answer to this question is false, because a line of best fit (also called a "trend line") should pass thru as many data points as possible to show a linear correlation.  It should also be noted that scatter plots can also show non-linear (curved) correlations between variables.

False. A trend line is based on a regression analysis. The general rule of thumb is to have your trend line as close as possible to all data points, and with equal number of points above and below it.
