Derivative with arctan

I need help finding the derivative of (x arctan(x^2))^-2/3

A shopkeeper buys books for $720. If the cost per book was $5 less, the number of books bought for $720 would be 2 more. Write equation and solve.

I know what the question is asking, but I am struggling on writing the formula, therefore I cannot solve the problem. Could you help me out?
