For each 2 unit increase in x, y decreases by 1. So, the relationship between x and y is linear.
For example, (10, -5) and (12, -6) are both points on the line.
slope = (-6-(-5))/(12-10) = -1/2
Using the point-slope form, an equation of the line is:
y - (-5) = (-1/2)(x - 10)
y + 5 = (-1/2)(x - 10)
y + 5 = (-1/2)x + 5
y = (-1/2)x
