The order of arithmetic operations is given by the acronym PERAMDAS:
1. <P>arentheses
2. <E>xponents
3. <R>adicals
4. <A>bsolute value
5. <M>ultiplication
6. <D>ivision
7. <A>ddition
8. <S>ubtraction
Let's apply PERAMDAS to our problem:
1. Expression to evaluate: -3[(4-3)^2+6]^2
2. First, do subtraction operation to eliminate inner parenthesis: -3(1^2+6)^2
3. Next, do exponent operation in parenthesis: -3(1+6)^2
4. Next, do addition operation in parenthesis: -3(7)^2
5. Next, do exponent operation on number in parenthesis: -3(49)
6. Last. do multiplication operation with with number in parenthesis to obtain answer of -147
