hi all tutors,

I am new to the platform. I noticed that Wyzant has tutor quiz to test tutor's qualification for specific subject. Can anyone advise what this is about and what type of questions are usually included in this type of quiz?

It is a very broad area to prepare for such assessment. I wish to focus in the correct areas before taking this quiz.

Depending on the subject, it can range from general to advanced knowledge about the specific subject. For math, it will give you equations, and you must provide the answer. The ones with quizzes will give you a percentage that you must achieve in order to be approved, such as a 70% efficiency. Tohers will ask for your qualifications. Where you will summarize your expertise or certifications in that subject.

Keep in mind the ones with quizzes you must complete in one sitting (about 30minutes). and if you fail, you cannot retake it, so do your best the first go. If your summary is not approved you will get an email from wyzant and you can edit and resubmit depending on why it wasn't approved.
