I am an ASE Master-Certified Automotive Technician and experienced automotive educator with an Associate of Applied Science in Automotive Technology. I began my automotive career in 1999 and have more than 25 years of experience in vehicle diagnosis, repair, dealership operations, and manufacturer-specific service procedures. My areas of expertise include electrical and electronic systems, engine performance, brakes, steering and suspension, heating and air conditioning, maintenance and light repair, and ASE certification preparation.

For the past six years, I have taught automotive technology in a high school Career and Technical Education program, working with students in classroom, laboratory, small-group, and one-on-one settings. I have also taught automotive courses at the community-college level. My students range from beginners learning shop safety and basic maintenance to advanced students preparing for ASE certifications and careers in the automotive industry.

My tutoring approach connects technical concepts to real-world vehicle problems. I break complicated systems into clear, manageable steps and use diagrams, diagnostic strategies, practice questions, and practical examples to reinforce learning. I help students understand why a system operates the way it does instead of simply memorizing answers. Whether a student needs support with an automotive course, electrical diagnosis, ASE test preparation, or career readiness, I provide patient, structured instruction tailored to the student’s experience, learning style, and goals.
