For the perimeter, I am seeing 8 sides that are 3 cm and 2 sides that are 5 cm. So the total perimeter would be:
(8*3)+(2*5)
24+10 = 34 cm
For the area, area = length x width for rectangles. (the 2 triangles for one rectangle)
(3*4)+(3*10)
12+30 = 42 cm2
From the choices:
50 cm; 42 cm2
50 cm; 54 cm2
34 cm; 54 cm2
34 cm; 42 cm2
