If you already have full access to Microsoft Word, you should hopefully be able to access any application feature as needed.
As others have noted, it might be a good idea to review tutorials that break down best practices for using Microsoft Word. In particular, LinkedIn Learning as well as the Microsoft Support website offer useful video resources on this topic.
It would be advantageous to familiarize yourself with Widow and Orphan Control. I was required to use these features when I published my master's thesis on ScholarWorks!
Try to ensure that every paragraph is properly aligned within the orderly format of your Word document. This can become a lot more complicated if the format of your document was significantly altered before you applied Widow or Orphan Control to it.
I thought that the commenting and citation features that were included with Microsoft Word seemed relatively straightforward to use!
