Don't you think the student already knows there are no cot, sec, nor csc buttons on a calculator? That's why the question was asked.

What did you add that wasn't already included in my answer that was posted before yours?

Why did you cram your answer into such a small space, thus making it more difficult to read?

Hi James, I wanted to clarify a couple of points regarding your comments on my response to the student's question. This section is meant to help students, and anyone can contribute answers to ensure the student gets well-rounded guidance. There’s no need for frustration or anger toward other tutors. Additionally, I want to note that we can't always assume students know what is or isn't available on their calculators—this is often why they're asking for help in the first place. In the future, I’d suggest maintaining a calm and respectful tone when offering feedback. We’re all here to help, and keeping the discussion constructive benefits everyone. Best regards, Thomas K

Furthermore, there is no need to compute 1/x, write it down, and then input a less accurate value into a function. That is unnecessary and inefficient.

Teaching involves communication. Jamming a lot of information into a tiny space makes it more difficult for the student to follow and hence understand. That's not quality teaching.

Finally, since you added essentially nothing to my answer, I believe you are guilty of plagiarism. There is no calm nor respectful way to put that. A "professional" as you claim to be would admit it and apologize. Let's see how professional you really are.
