asked 08/18/24Something is effecting my left leg
I have had pain in my left leg for over 2 months. It is almost consent, but most painful at night when I try to sleep. At times the pain is in my hip area, but most often in the calf area. I noticed that it seems that I am losing rear calf muscle. Today I tried to stand on the balls of my feet. I have no issues with my right leg, but I can’t stand on the left at all. Please give me some direction on what this issue could be.
Thank you.

I'm so sorry to hear about the pain and weakness you've been experiencing in your left leg. Based on your description, it sounds like you might be dealing with a condition that involves both muscular and possibly nerve-related issues. Some steps you can take would be to consult a healthcare professional as soon as possible. They can perform a physical exam, order tests like MRIs or X-rays, and refer you to the appropriate specialist. If you experience sudden or severe pain, significant loss of function, or symptoms like numbness or tingling that spread rapidly, seek medical attention immediately. I hope you found this information to be helpful. If you have any additional questions, please let me know. Take care!

See your doctor and ask the doctor to check if you may have Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT).
Hope this helps.
