- Enter the x-values into L1 and y-values into L2
- Press STAT
- Press Edit...
- Type x-values into L1
- Type y-values into L2
- Perform a linear regression
- Press STAT
- Go over to CALC
- Press LinReg
Note: If an r value did not show up, you need to turn your diagnostic on
- Press CATALOG (2nd 0)
- Scroll down to DiagnosticOn
- Press Enter
- Re-run the linear regression: STAT, CALC, LinReg
If you did it correctly, your window should show:
a = -2.6833333
b = 10.4933333
r2 = 0.981097
r = 0.990503
