Using a table of standard reduction potentials, we find the following values:
In3+ + 3e- ==> In .. Eº = -0.34 V
Cd2+ + 2e- ==> Cd .. Eº = -0.40 V
The cell, as written, will not be spontaneous, as it has Cd as the cathode and In as the anode.
Anode: In(s) ==> In3+(aq) + 3e-
Cathode: Cd2+(aq) + 2e- ==> Cd(s)
Overall: 2 In(s) + 3Cd2+(aq) ==> 2 In3+(aq) + 3Cd(s)
