Do you want a general formula for all regular polygons, given the apothem?

When solving for the area of regular polygons, do you always multiply the side length by the square root of three or is that only for hexagons ( 30, 60, 90) triangles. If not what do I do for the other types of regular polygons.

One formula (amongst several) is
Area = (perimeter)(apothem) / 2
