Mean=35

standard deviation=9

8 is three standard deviations below the mean:

35 - (3*9) = 8

62 is three standard deviations above the mean:

35 + (3*9) = 62

So we know from the Empirical Rule that 99.7% of data falls within three standard deviations of the mean either way, so: 99.7% (Don't use the symbol)
