There is a bag with 5 green marbles and 8 blue marbles. A dice is rolled, then a marble is chosen. What are the number of outcomes?

Assuming you want to know the possible results of 1 die roll and 1 marble pulled from the bag, and assuming that all marbles of the same color are treated the same (not unique):

There are 6 possible die rolls, and for each one of those, there are 2 possible marble colors. Therefore there are 12 possible results.
