asked 12/07/23Finding degree measures in the triangle
Suppose that m<K = (5x +16) degrees and m<J = (4x + 25) degrees. Fine the degree measure of each angle in the triangle.

If it is an isosceles triangle, then the base angles are equal to each other. So, set the two expressions equal to each other and solve for x. Then, simply plug x back into each of the expressions to get the angle measures, which should be the same - if they aren't, check your algebra.
