The Paschen series fall in the infrared range and the Paschen fall in the far infrared region, but there is some overlap, e.g. the shortest line in the Bracket series has a wavelength that overlaps the Paschen series.

A wavelength of 2000 nm, I believe, would belong in the Bracket series (lower energy level of n = 4).
