Trapezoid question: do I have enough information to solve it?

" Given Trapezoid TRAP with bases TR=7 in and PA=9 in and diagonal TA= 6 in, Diagonals TA and RP intersect at point O. Points X and Y are on the legs of the trapezoid. Segment XY passes through point O and is parallel to TR. What is the length of XY?"


I would use the midsegment theorem, but it's never given that the line XY intersects a leg at it's midpoint. I'm also confused by the inclusion of the length of the diagonal. Help please!
