98.7654 − 9.357 = 89.4084 but since 9.357 has only 3 digits after the decimal we round to 89.408

Finally, we now have 43.52 divided by 89.408. Our answer should be limited to 4 significant figures since that is the least significant of the 2 values (89.408 has 5 sig.figs. and 43.52 has 4 sig.figs.)

43.52 / 89.408 = 0.486757 = 0.4868 (4 sig.figs.)
