The energy associated with a single photon is given by E = hv, where E is the energy (joules), h is Planck's constant (h = 6.626 x 10^-34 joule-seconds), and v is the frequency of the radiation (seconds^-1, or Hertz).
E (J) = (6.262 x 10^-34 joule-seconds)(5.00 x 10^14 seconds^-1)
The units of seconds cancel out and we are left with the answer in joules, 3.313 x 10^-19 J.
