How long is the response time for questions? (it's been 5 hours for my first one and I just want to know the general time)

within 24 hours for a Wyzant tutor, but check their individual times as they may be from 1 to 23 hours or so

if your question is ambiguous, not well stated, and no one can figure out what you're asking usually no one answers

if semi ambiguous, a few answers but much slower

a more difficult question does take more time, as tutors don't like posting first solutions without checking their answers more, which takes time

ask a question at midnight, don't expect answers until day light

then there's occasional computer snafus and the tutor doesn't get your message or can't answer it due to a computer problem, technological issues
