What is the n-factor of (NH4)2 SO4?

wasn't n-factor the number of H+ or OH- ions acids and bases can release? or the total +/- ve charge in a salt, so can't we calculate it?

Yes..for acids and bases it was the H+ or OH- released, but there had to be a reaction to determine how many were released. For example, n factor for H2SO4 could be 1 OR 2, depending on the reaction.
