∠1 ≅ ∠2 because they are corresponding angles.

∠2 is supplementary to ∠3 because they are a linear pair.

That means ∠1 is supplementary to ∠3 (by substitution)

So (x + 1) + (x - 3) = 180

2x - 2 = 180

2x = 182

x = 91

Therefore ∠1 = 92° (because it is (x + 1)°

∠1 ≅ ∠4 because they are alternate interior angles.

So y = 92
