Suppose 18.5 mol A reacts with excess B in 9.15 L of solution. Calculate the concentration of C at equilibrium.

K = [C] / [A] (note: we do not include solids in the equilibrium expression)

9.40 = 18.5-x / x

9.40 x = 18.5 - x

10.40x = 18.5

x = [C] = 1.78 moles / 9.15 L = 0.195 M
