Thiosulfate = S₂O₃^2-

Hydrochloric acid = HCl

NOTE: thiosulfate is not stable in acid and the following reaction takes place:

S₂O₃^2- + 2H⁺ ==> SO₂ + S + H₂O (disproportionation reaction)

S₂O₃^2- + 2HCl ==> SO₂ + S + 2Cl^- + H₂O
