56 should not be used as the standard deviation here. It should be the population standard deviation (56) divided by the square root of the sample size (49), according to the Central Limit Theorem. So the equation that needs to be solved for x should be: 0.84 = (x - 258) / (56/sqrt(49)). The equivalent TI-84 command would be invNorm(0.8, 258, 56/sqrt(49), LEFT)
