When constructing an inscribed hexagon by hand, which step comes after constructing a circle?

 Set the compass to the diameter of the circle.

 Set the compass to the radius of the circle. 

Use a straightedge to draw a diameter of the circle. 

Use a straightedge to draw the radius of the circle. I say option 2 but please give me the correcr one
