PLEASE HELP ME AND CORRECT ME!

Determine if the two figures are congruent and explain your answer using transformations.

Figure ABCD is shown. A is at negative 1, 1. B is at negative 3, 2. C is at negative 4, 4. D is at 0, 5. Figure EFGH is shown. E is at 1, 1. F is at 3, 0. G is at 4, negative 2. H is at 0, negative 3.

This is a question that I am really having a hard time with please show me the steps with the answers so I can know in the future how to solve them.

Hi Oscar G. You could determine if the lengths of the sides are all the same for example CD=EH=SQRT17=GH=AD you may have congruency by SSS. You should check but the shorter sides are SQRT5. For the rotation you want to check the rule 180 degrees clockwise says (x,y) goes to (-x,-y) is this what you have? You want make sure the change in the coordinates matches the rigid transformation. For example the coordinates of point D(0,5) but coordinates of point H(0,-3) or the coordinates of point B(-3,2) versus the coordinates of point F(3,0). The change in the coordinates looks more like (-x, -y+2); You should write out (x,y) for ABCD, then write out (-x,-y), and (-x,-y+2) to see which one fits EFGH.
