asked 05/06/23I drew a rectangle like the question asked. If the rectangle's length is the same length as the midline of the trapezoid, then I have succeeded. But I don't know how to prove that.
615.The area of a trapezoid can be found by multiplying its altitude (the distance between the parallel sides) by the length of its midline. Explain why this formula works. One approach is to find a suitable rectangle that has the same area as the trapezoid.
