Trigonometry: Expression to Fraction

Write the expression as a single fraction: 3 sec(-x) +2.

Usually, it's theta (θ) that's inside the trig function, like sec(θ) or sec(-θ), so we can put it in fraction in terms of x, y and/ or r if you're dealing with polar coordinates. But you have 3*sec(-x) + 2, which can be graph in Cartesian coordinate system which doesn't make sense. With that kind of expression, we usually identify the amplitude, period, frequency, phase shift and vertical shift. What do you really mean?
