K2SO3 (potassium sulfite) is the salt of a strong base (KOH) and a weak acid (H2SO3).
Rb2SO3 (rubidium sulfite) is the salt of a strong base (RbOH) and a weak acid (H2SO3).
Solution of both salts will have an alkaline pH (>7) and they should be the same because they are both formed by strong bases from group 1
